MEET THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK
Hi, I’m Dr. Stephanie Tavarez.
I’m an organizational psychologist, educator, and consultant who cares about how people learn, connect, and thrive at work.
My work brings research into everyday practice. I help organizations understand their people, create meaningful learning experiences, and turn complex questions into practical next steps.
Alongside consulting, I teach at the University of Hartford and direct the SHINE Lab, where I mentor researchers and support work focused on human interaction, inclusion, and employability. Teaching at my alma mater is especially meaningful to me—it’s an opportunity to encourage the critical thinking and creativity I bring to my own work.
I hold a Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology, and both my master’s and bachelor’s degrees are from the University of Hartford. Across the classroom, research, and client work, my focus stays the same: helping people grow and organizations work better.
